As SVP Engineering, HBC Digital, Ade leads the engineering teams that run luxury ecommerce experiences that include gilt.com, saks.com, and saksoff5th.com across New York, Dublin and Tokyo. He is an experienced, outspoken software engineer, communicator and leader with over 20 years of experience working with teams throughout Europe, US and Asia in diverse industries such as financial services, telecoms, retail, and manufacturing. In the past, he has held the positions of SVP Engineering at Gilt, CTO of Gilt Japan, Tech Lead at Gilt Groupe Ireland, Distinguished Consultant at FuseSource, Progress Software and IONA Technologies, and Lecturer at the National University of Ireland in Maynooth. He became a committer for the Apache Software Foundation in 2010, has acted as an expert reviewer to the European Commission.

David leads Intel Labs energy research agenda and Intel's engagement in the SAP - Intel Collaboratory, a joint research collaboration based in SAP Belfast. The labs research focus is centred on the role of ICT in driving sustainability with specific emphasis on renewable energy integration and cloud computing. David also represents Intel Labs Europe on a number of external forums including the Dublin Research Observatory, SmartOcean, SmartBay, and the iMERC Technical Advisory Group. In addition he currently leads a variety of research and applied research initiatives in the areas of smart infrastructures and energy systems services. In the past has been engaged in research roles in a variety of European Union Framework projects.

David O'Callaghan is Head of Development for Ryanair Labs. Charged with transforming Ryanair into the 'Amazon of Travel' David leads a team of over 100 developers covering all IT aspects of the business including the website transformation (front and back end), the mobile apps, the DevOps implementation as well as numerous back office systems.  With a career spanning almost two decades in development, David has experience managing multiple IT and Technology projects, programs and portfolios. Prior to Ryanair. David was working at HMH where he had multiple roles managing technical and development team. He has also held senior consulting roles for business consulting firm BearingPoint, combining traditional and modern project management disciplines. It was here that he started working with Agile methodologies.

David has been working in the software dev industry for 30 years and has been building and leading development teams for over 15 of those years, working in companies such as Oracle, Full Tilt Poker and Zalando.  As the need for speed and innovation increases in today's creative economy, David thinks the biggest question facing us today, is how we create great work environments where people are motivated and committed to solving today's complex problems. And love doing so. To aid in this goal, David is currently doing an Masters in Work and Organisational Behaviour in DCU with specific interests and research in the areas of self-determination theory, team autonomy, employee motivation, commitment and engagement in a hi-tech organisation

Doug Powell is a designer with more than 25 years of experience in a wide range of design disciplines. A recipient of the 2014 Distinguished Alumni Award from the Sam Fox School of Design at Washington University in St. Louis, and the 2014 Fellow Award from AIGA Minnesota, Doug is a lecturer, commentator and thought leader on design issues, having presented at a variety of national conferences and forums including the 2015 Beirut Design Week in Lebanon. Bright Ideas on Minnesota Public Radio, the 2011 Mayo Clinic Transform Conference, and the 2012 TEDx ArtCenter. Between 2011-2013 Doug served as the national president of AIGA, the professional association for design, the largest and oldest design organisation in the world. He is currently a Distinguished Designer at IBM, directing the program to scale design and design thinking across the global tech company

Amar Nagaram is the Vice President of Engineering at Flipkart. In his current role, he is heading the Customer Shopping Experience Engineering, Catalog Engineering and FinTech wing, developing products that redefine the shopping experience online and making online shopping affordable . He is passionate about building Mobile and Progressive Web products from the ground-up to deliver superior value and user experience to the end consumer. He is equally passionate about building great teams. He believes in a design language that prefers "People over Pixels". He is excited about start-ups that are solving challenging problems for emerging markets and he works with many such start-ups, mentoring them on all things Mobile. He is also an advisor to half a dozen startups. 

Prior to Flipkart, he worked at @WalmartLabs - he was involved in strategy development for Walmart's next generation e-commerce Platform. He was also instrumental in setting up @walmartlabs India center of excellence.

Kai has worked within the BBC for 11 years. In her current role, Kai looks after the UX&Design internal systems and tools for BBC Digital and Engineering divisions. A large part of the role includes growing the UX&Design capability, education and practice to provide the systems and tools for the BBC across Production and Enterprise. Kai has held a number of positions at the BBC including almost 4 years as BBC's Creative Director. She was also BBC's Senior Interaction Designer where she lead a team of designers on Audience Facing Services, such as BBC iD, user features - commenting, blogs, social features, and automated programme support. Kai has also held senior design positions in GCap Media, Conchango and BSkyB to name a few.

Noelle LaCharite is an evangelist. She is passionate about voice technology, AI bots and Mindful Leadership. As a Sr. Technical Program Manager at Amazon Alexa, she owns and manages projects that will help define the vision for Alexa's voice experience, drive investments in accuracy and end-to-end voice experience quality and find opportunities for increasing innovation across the data science and engineering teams related to machine learning. She has spent many years as a technical trainer and evangelist for IBM, a Solution Architect for RedHat and in Education Leadership at Amazon Web Services. She has been an enterprise developer, architect and principle consultant over a decade. She has been voted a top 10 presenter at RedHat Summit and has spoken at dozens of technical and digital marketing events. As an Evangelist for voice technologies, she develops demonstrations, white papers and tutorials and speaks at technical conferences, seminars and executive meetings.

Bryan is the CTO at Skyscanner, responsible for enabling a 400-strong global team of software engineers, data scientists, product managers, and designers to earn the trust of hundreds of millions of travelers around the world by delivering a simple, elegant product experience.

Bryan has previously held leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Skype, and Microsoft.

Cheryl is a lover of technology. From a young age, she has built computers and was determined to head in the direction of digital in her career. She strongly believes that technology need to match the growth of the business - by being creative. She has successfully built and developed diverse technical and digital teams at Barclaycard

Chiara most recently led Dell's EMEA Online Customer Experience teams for the Consumer and Small Business Division. She joined Slack as one of her responsibility on the job reference was to keep the team happy which stood out to her.

As the Lead Principal Software Engineer in ASOS Technology, Nik Crabtree is responsible for Software and QA Engineering, UI Engineering and Data Engineering across the organisation. His role has a simple brief: come in every day with one aim - make engineering and engineers at ASOS better. Nik joined ASOS in March 2015 after six years at Avanade where he lead the Cloud & Integration Practice. Nik worked on both Azure and on-premises solutions with customers such as Skype, Blinkbox, Barclays, Best Buy and ASOS.
